Short code Service is a service used for receiving Incoming messages by the organization to capture responses from the client or people who wants to interact with the company in automated format. It is not similar to a Mobile number and its shorter in length as compared to Long Code number so it is called Short Code. Being small in size it is easy to remember. SMSidea Offers this service to organisations across India, as it cannot be used to receive International SMS.

Shared Short Code

In Shared Short code service a Keyword is assigned to the organization and the number is used by multiple organizations. All the Incoming messages are distributed to the organization on the basis of the first word (Also called Keyword) of the message received.

Note:

1. Short Code will be of 5 Digit
2. End user will be charged with Premium SMS charges
3. Available Shared Short codes are 1) 56070 , 2)  56677
4. Charges will be applied on per keyword basis
5. Unlimited free Sub Keywords can be created
6. Responses can be forwarded on the pre-defined URL of the organization, if required
7. Auto response can be predefined
8. Charges of auto response will be additional for which SMS Pack needs to be taken
